With the API or MCP, you control link placement yourself, without our algorithm. Choose the keywords, link types, placement pace and link building strategy on your own.
All API requests require authorization with an API key passed in the header Authorization: Bearer <API_KEY>.
The Content-Type: application/json header is also required.
API base URL: https://pubconsole.com/api
Rate limits
- We recommend making no more than 30 requests per second.
- Send requests sequentially, waiting for the server’s response before making the next call.
- Repeatedly exceeding the limits may result in a temporary block of your API key and IP address.
Creating link tasks
- Before creating link tasks, create a project for your website once.
- Pass the project ID with every new link task.
- The domain in a link task must match the project’s domain.
- You can create any number of link tasks.
- Save the task ID and project ID in your system to manage them later (check status, reject tasks).
- We select a website for each task individually and check it against our minimum requirements. You can’t choose websites in advance.
Status tracking
- We recommend checking task status no more than once a day.
- Turnaround time depends on demand and task complexity, from a few hours to a few days.
Guarantee and monitoring
- Moderators review every link task against all of our requirements.
- We check regularly that the link is live for 30 days (the guarantee period).
- If the link is removed during this period, we’ll replace it with a similar one.
- We recommend syncing task statuses and link URLs once a day to keep your data up to date.
Managing tasks
- You can reject completed work within 30 days, but only for a valid reason, such as inaccurate information or a broken link.
- You can delete a link task you no longer need, but only while it has the NEW status.
